Welcome! Thank You For Your Interest in The ENC!
The Estero Newcomers Club is a vibrant, active organization open to membership of women in Estero, Florida and the surrounding areas. We offer many opportunities for socializing and meeting new women in both large and small group settings. Visit our About Us tab to learn more about our history, membership, organization, and activities.

Our ever popular Monthly Luncheon & Business meetings are held during the third week of the month (usually on Tuesdays or Thursdays) from January - October and during the second week of the month during November - December.

There are a host of monthly activities and fun events which enable our members to meet others with mutual interests. We welcome you to explore our wide array of activities and find the ones that most interest you. Most activities require registration which can be found in the Member Activity tab.

Although our club is designed for women, we have many activities, excursions, and events that include spouses, partners, and male friends. The men can also participate in two events specifically for them - Breakfast with the Guys and Lunch with the Guys.

President’s Message
May, 2026

Hello ladies of the ENC!

It’s that time of year…season is winding down. We hope all of our snowbirds have a safe journey back north and we will look forward to seeing you all in the fall!

As for our year-round residents, our Events Team (Barbara, Mary and Joan) continue to find fun events for us to do. While there is still time to register for the Cookie Decorating Class scheduled for April 28th, here are the special events scheduled for May:
- May 8th - Ford & Edison Estates Tour with lunch at Franny’s
- May 29th - Wine Tasting at Total Wine followed by dinner at Fresh Catch Inland

Just a reminder, events fill up fast so visit the Member Activity section of the website often so you don’t miss out on our regular and special events! Also, if you need to cancel, please be respectful of your ENC sisters and do so in a timely manner. Most events have a waiting list.

Our May luncheon and business meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, May 19th at The Forest Country Club. We are pleased to have Richard Sherman, Author and Professional Photographer as our guest speaker. His book, "Never Home: Remembering the Military Heroes Who Never Returned," honors the more than 200,000 individuals interred in America's 23 overseas WWI and WWII cemeteries and was published in April, 2024. Richard also co-produces a monthly video series with the Navy Memorial that honors fallen heroes from WWI and WWII.

We are happy to continue to support Let’s Talk Dementia as our second quarter charity. All proceeds collected at our April, May and June luncheons will be donated to this worthwhile cause. Don’t forget, you can also pre-purchase raffle tickets on-line if you prefer to use a credit card. Just visit the Member Activity section of the website to pre-purchase raffle tickets. Tickets will be distributed at the luncheons.

Your Board of Directors has made the decision to discontinue issuing a monthly newsletter. Given all the work Suzanne Smith has put into the website and Barbara McTaggart’s weekly Events emails, we felt the newsletter was redundant. A special thank you to Janet Doll for all of her work on the newsletter! She is enjoying a much needed break! I will be emailing my President’s Message out monthly as well as posting it on the website.

The ENC is strong because of all of you. Please consider joining the Board in 2027 as many opportunities will exist to do so!

Remember, take time to breathe. Be kind - to yourself and others. Have a great month!
